Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to perfection, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook grilled items according to menu specifications and customer preferences.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas.
• Assist in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring consistency in presentation.
• Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role within the food industry.
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.
• Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, particularly in fine dining settings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
