What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Production - AntiSocial position at Thinkingbox?
Who We Are
Hi! We’re AntiSocial, a social first digital marketing agency powered by people who love to create. Our work spans industries and disciplines, from conceptual campaigns and strategic media plans to creator partnerships, influencer strategies, and content production for leading brands around the world. As part of the Thinkingbox family, we bring creativity, collaboration, and innovation to everything we do.
At AntiSocial, you’ll join a diverse and talented team that delivers bold campaigns and innovative solutions for some of the world’s top brands. Our culture is one of collaboration, creativity, and connection. Whether it is brainstorming with colleagues, hanging out with our office dogs, or enjoying weekly events, we keep our work environment vibrant, inclusive, and fun. Each year, we also encourage our people to spend a month exploring the world, whether that means working from another office or even from the beaches of Mexico, to expand their perspectives and bring fresh inspiration back to the team.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Director of Production to join our LA team and lead a growing group of producers focused on social storytelling for some of the most exciting brands across North America and beyond.
The Director of Production is responsible for overseeing all production across AntiSocial with a strong focus on social first content. This role leads and supports a team of producers delivering a high volume of always-on programs, social campaigns, creator partnerships, and platform specific content.
You bring deep experience producing social content and managing the full production lifecycle from scoping through delivery. You understand the nuances of each platform and how to adapt content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snap, and emerging channels. You are comfortable moving between internal teams and client conversations, ensuring work aligns with timelines, budgets, and creative vision.
This role also requires strong client services experience. Any background as a Group Account Director or Account Manager is a significant plus. You should feel confident operating in a hybrid production and client services capacity, partnering closely with clients, understanding their business needs, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
This role partners closely with Creative, Content, Media, Client Services, and the Accounts team to ensure delivery is seamless and consistent. You are a mentor, a problem solver, and the senior production voice clients and internal teams trust.
