Thinking Minds' client is seeking a Senior SAP IBP Consultant / Lead with deep expertise in CPI-DS to support end-to-end supply chain planning initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical SAP IBP knowledge with leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset.
As a key member of the project team, you will lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP IBP modules including Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP, and Response & Supply. A strong emphasis will be placed on data integration using CPI-DS, where you will be responsible for defining integration strategy and building scalable data flows between SAP and non-SAP systems.
You'll act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business requirements into robust and scalable planning solutions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing planning area design, key figure modeling, master data configuration, and ensuring system performance through governance and optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing SAP IBP modules aligned with supply chain needs
Developing and managing CPI-DS integrations and ETL processes
Providing architectural input and enforcing IBP best practices
Leading small teams of consultants, reviewing deliverables, and mentoring junior staff
Supporting project managers to ensure successful, on-time delivery
Conducting client workshops and delivering user training sessions
Keeping abreast of SAP innovations and advising on upgrade paths or enhancements
Preferred candidates may also have exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), knowledge of CPI-PI, and experience with global template rollouts. SAP certifications in IBP or CPI-DS are a plus.
