Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior SAP IBP Consultant / Lead with strong expertise in CPI-DS (Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services) to deliver end-to-end planning solutions for global clients. This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP IBP and data integration, combined with the ability to lead teams, engage with stakeholders, and provide strategic guidance on large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of SAP IBP modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP, Response & Supply).
Define and execute integration strategies between IBP and SAP/non-SAP systems using CPI-DS.
Provide solution architecture guidance on IBP planning area design, key figure modeling, master data setup, and time profiles.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating supply chain requirements into scalable IBP solutions.
Ensure data governance, performance optimization, and issue resolution for complex integration scenarios.
Mentor and lead a small team of IBP consultants, reviewing deliverables and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery with high customer satisfaction.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and continuous knowledge sharing with client and internal teams.
Stay updated with the latest SAP IBP and CPI-DS roadmap and advise clients on upgrades, enhancements, and innovations.
Required Skills & Experience
8 years of SAP experience, with at least 4 years in SAP IBP end-to-end implementations.
Deep expertise in CPI-DS for data integration, ETL, and performance tuning.
Strong functional knowledge of supply chain planning processes: demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP.
Proven track record of leading IBP projects or workstreams.
Hands-on expertise with SAP IBP Excel add-in for planning and reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and client engagement skills.
Ability to mentor junior consultants and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for IBP reporting.
Familiarity with CPI-PI / CI-PI or other middleware integration tools.
SAP IBP or CPI-DS certifications.
Experience in global template rollouts and multi-country deployments.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field.
SAP IBP certification preferred.
