Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to build and maintain scalable automation solutions for modern web applications and APIs. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Playwright-based UI automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration within an Agile environment.
Key Skills & Technologies
Languages & Frameworks
- Java (primary)
- JavaScript / TypeScript (preferred)
- Playwright (primary UI automation)
- TestNG, JUnit
- Cucumber (BDD)
Testing
- UI automation for modern web applications
- API testing (REST / SOAP / Microservices)
- Mobile web testing
- Security and ADA testing (nice-to-have)
Tools & Platforms
- Git, Jira
- Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
- Advanced SQL for large-scale data validation
- Test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
- 8 years of hands-on test automation experience
- Strong experience designing and maintaining Playwright-based UI automation frameworks
- Solid Java-based automation background (Playwright required)
- Proven API test automation experience
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Advanced SQL skills for data validation
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Salary : $40 - $50
