The Usher will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, assisting them with seating arrangements, and maintaining order within the event space.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
- Guide attendees to their assigned seats in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Provide clear and accurate information regarding venue facilities, event schedules, and seating arrangements.
- Monitor event areas to ensure safety, security, and adherence to venue policies.
- Assist with crowd control during entry and exit times to maintain smooth flow.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and observational abilities.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods during events.
- Basic knowledge of venue layout and emergency procedures preferred.
- Competitive hourly wage: $16 - $25 per hour.
