- Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial automation equipment, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), sensors, and other components.
- Collaborate with the engineering and support teams to diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Install and configure automation systems, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
- Perform system upgrades and software updates to keep systems up-to-date and optimized.
- Respond promptly to service requests and prioritize tasks to minimize downtime and disruption to clients' operations.
- Document all service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks in company system.
- Provide technical support and training to clients' maintenance personnel, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle routine operational tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute insights for continuous improvement in product design and functionality.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in industrial automation systems, with proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and associated control devices. Experience with PLC controlled equipment and understanding of variable frequency drives preferred.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions efficiently.
- Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical principles, mechanical components, and their interactions in automation systems.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining industrial automation systems.
