Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards through Learning Beyond Paper, literacy education, math, and sensory activities tailored for preschool and toddler care.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, communication skills—including American Sign Language—and behavioral management techniques.
- Help maintain a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior support strategies.
- Support classroom organization, including preparing materials for lessons, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during toddler care and preschool activities.
- Maintain the State of North Dakota licensing requirements
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques suitable for preschoolers and toddlers within private school or similar educational environments.
- Proficiency in communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists.
