Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Director of Revenue Management to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing revenue strategies across Think Hospitality's portfolio, driving top-line revenue growth, and optimizing pricing strategies to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market trends, forecasting, and revenue management systems, with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue & Pricing Strategy: Establish hotel pricing across all segments and room types, ensuring competitive positioning. Analyze market trends, local events, and economic factors to optimize revenue strategies.
- Forecasting & Performance Analysis: Develop and manage short- and long-term revenue forecasts, including weekly, monthly, and annual projections. Monitor RevPAR index and STR reports to assess market positioning and implement strategic adjustments.
- Inventory & Distribution Management: Oversee daily room inventory, ensuring optimal pricing and availability across all channels. Maintain accurate content and pricing across OTAs and distribution platforms.
- Group & Contracted Business Optimization: Evaluate group, wholesale, and corporate negotiated business opportunities, balancing speed of response with profit maximization. Manage group cut-off dates, pick-up trends, and block accuracy.
- Technology & Systems Oversight: Maintain revenue management software (CRS, RMS, PMS, Sales & Catering) and ensure data accuracy. Conduct test calls to verify rate quoting and selling approaches.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Lead weekly Revenue Strategy meetings, aligning sales, marketing, and operations on pricing and distribution strategies. Train and develop team members in revenue management best practices.
- Digital Marketing & E-Commerce: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including pay-per-click campaigns, GDS advertising, and email marketing, to drive direct bookings and optimize channel mix.
- Reporting & Presentations: Prepare detailed revenue reports, market analysis, and ownership presentations. Identify opportunities for growth and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive revenue management experience, with demonstrated success in luxury or upper-upscale hospitality.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Hotel systems and tools (e.g., Duetto, IDeaS, STR, InforHMS, Room Master, Opera, etc. ).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Expertise in demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and distribution strategies.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and outperforming market benchmarks.
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to work stationary at least 8 hours per day.
- Be able to speak and hear clearly in order to communicate with guests and co-workers.
- Be able to reach and handle the computer, keyboard and desktop items.
- Must have depth perception and balance for overall performance.
