The specialist will be responsible for courtroom presentation technology, digital exhibits, multimedia evidence, demonstrative graphics, courtroom equipment, and live "hot seat" trial support. The successful candidate must remain composed in high-pressure courtroom environments and respond quickly and accurately to requests from the trial team.

This is a variable-hour position. The regular schedule may be part-time outside of active trials, but trial assignments may require extended days, weekend work, and travel for prolonged periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation to litigation teams regarding courtroom technology and trial communication methods.
  • Work with attorneys and expert witnesses to develop courtroom presentation strategies.
  • Operate courtroom presentation software and serve in the "hot seat" during live proceedings.
  • Display exhibits, documents, graphics, deposition testimony, video, audio, and other evidence in response to attorney direction.
  • Coordinate with trial teams to establish exhibit sequences and presentation scripts supporting witness testimony.
  • Assist with developing and presenting trial themes and strategic visual concepts.
  • Recommend and prepare demonstrative graphics, multimedia presentations, and visual exhibits.
  • Create and edit presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Support video editing, 2D graphics, and 3D animation when required.
  • Design courtroom and war-room display schematics.
  • Install, configure, test, operate, and troubleshoot courtroom presentation equipment.
  • Develop or support databases, imaging systems, and trial-presentation systems for complex matters.
  • Support mobile devices, tablets, and iPads used during trial.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, experts, and litigation personnel before and throughout trial.
  • Travel to trial locations and provide extended onsite support.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity, timekeeping, and expense documentation.
Required Qualifications

  • Direct experience operating courtroom presentation technology during live proceedings.
  • Advanced working knowledge of OnCue and Sanction.
  • Experience preparing, organizing, and presenting digital trial exhibits.
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting courtroom and war-room presentation equipment.
  • Experience supporting attorneys and expert witnesses throughout pretrial preparation and trial.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices, tablets, and iPads in courtroom environments.
  • Familiarity with litigation-support applications such as Relativity and CaseMap.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Multimedia, Digital Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under extreme pressure and respond rapidly during live proceedings.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to complete the required Public Trust process.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced PowerPoint and infographic-development skills.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience with video editing, 2D graphics, or 3D animation.
  • Experience with WordPress, Webflow, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, or Dreamweaver.
  • Experience designing mockups for web-based platforms.
  • Law degree or formal litigation-paralegal training.
  • Previous federal litigation or Department of Justice support experience.
