- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and optimal coverage.
- Manage client accounts efficiently using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, ensuring accurate documentation of interactions and policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to health, life, property, casualty, and commercial insurance products.
- Stay informed about insurance regulations and compliance standards such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) to ensure all client interactions adhere to legal requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products effectively through various channels including retail sales and telemarketing campaigns.
- Assist clients with benefits administration and explain complex policy details in clear terms, fostering trust and long-term relationships.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a strong ability to generate leads and close deals.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with analysis skills to assess client needs accurately.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Solid knowledge of insurance products including health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance sectors.
- Familiarity with insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements such as HIPAA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems for effective sales administration.
- Strong communication skills for client communication, benefits explanation, and marketing outreach efforts.
