What are the responsibilities and job description for the Care Coordinator - Women's Clinic position at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center?
Responsible for coordination of maternity patient needs across the continuum of care. Serves as a single point of contract for referring physicians, patients, community groups, and caregivers to provide guidance through pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care.
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor or Associate degree in Marketing, Business or healthcare related field preferred
Skills:
- Excellent reading, writing, and editing skills in English.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interviewing skills and ability to assess patient needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Competent computer skills for word processing, data collection and retrieval.
Previous Experience:
- Two or more years of external or sales marketing required.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas to a variety of audiences.
Licenses:
Current and valid driver’s license required.
