What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Coordinator position at Thibodaux Regional Health System?
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the activities of the Registration, Pre-Registration, and Scheduling staff in the Point of Entry area in the Wellness Center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
Associate degree preferred in Business or Health related field or a Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business or Health related field.
Previous Experience:
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in health care registration/insurance required.
Other Special Training/Skills:
- Knowledge of Federal and Commercial insurances program highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous computer skills.
