POSITION PURPOSE:
The role of the Showroom Senior Sales Associate is pivotal to the success of our showroom, with a focus on elevating the overall customer experience and achieving sales targets. This position is centered around delivering exceptional customer service, understanding, and meeting customer requirements, and effectively communicating the value proposition of our products. The Showroom Senior Sales Associate will also play a crucial role in driving sales and leaving a positive, enduring impression on our clientele.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our product offerings through daily sales activities, ongoing research, and active participation in product training sessions.
- Greet clients and visitors promptly, discerning their needs, preferences, budget constraints, and motivations to maximize sales opportunities. Demonstrate adaptability by suggesting alternatives, expanding on design concepts, and proposing supplementary product ideas.
- Introduce new clients to our products and services through comprehensive showroom tours and engaging product presentations.
- Manage incoming phone inquiries and assist customers efficiently as required.
- Facilitate order follow-up procedures by utilizing the weekly reserve report. Conduct daily calls and send emails to keep designers informed about order status.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the Thibaut operating system, leveraging excellent computer skills to deliver outstanding and timely customer service.
- Oversee order entries, including processing customer orders and providing updates on status, payment, and delivery information.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, actively seeking feedback to enhance sales capabilities.
- Actively engage in client prospecting initiatives to drive sales expansion.
- Assist in vetting new accounts and manual accounts set up.
- Manage new collections rotations and applications.
- Proactively organize and push outreach efforts in collaboration with showroom manager.
- Assume manager responsibilities in absence of showroom manager.
- Collaborate closely with external sales reps and management to develop strategies that promote client business growth and reinforce connections between the inside and outside sales teams.
REQUIREMENTS, REASONING ABILITIES AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Solid understanding of retail sales and customer service principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Willingness to contribute ideas for improving showroom efficiency.
- Analytical mindset to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
- Ability to think critically and make decisions aligned with company policies.
- Proficiency in using computers, phones, calculators, and other technological equipment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and move around the showroom for extended periods.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably within a showroom or retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address issues and devise effective solutions.
- Capability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Familiarity with showroom operations, customer service, and administrative duties.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
