Role Description
We are seeking a Showroom Senior Sales Associate to join our team and play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional customer experience. This position focuses on delivering top-tier service, understanding customer needs, and effectively conveying the value of our products. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly motivated, and committed to driving sales while leaving a lasting, positive impression on every client.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Customer Engagement & Sales
- Provide expert knowledge of product offerings through daily sales activities, ongoing research, and participation in product trainings.
- Greet clients promptly and identify their needs, preferences, budget, and motivations to maximize sales opportunities.
- Suggest alternatives, enhance design concepts, and recommend complementary products when appropriate.
- Conduct engaging showroom tours and product presentations for new clients.
- Manage incoming phone inquiries and assist customers as needed.
- Prospect new clients and actively participate in outreach initiatives to support sales growth.
Order Management & Administrative Duties
- Utilize the weekly reserve report to follow up on orders, making daily calls and sending updates to designers.
- Demonstrate proficiency with the Thibaut operating system and maintain strong computer skills to provide timely, accurate customer service.
- Process customer orders, including entry, payment, delivery updates, and overall order status.
- Communicate regularly with clients to gather feedback and enhance sales capabilities.
- Assist with vetting new accounts and completing manual account set-ups.
- Oversee new collection rotations and applications.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate closely with external sales reps and management to develop strategies that strengthen customer relationships and drive business growth.
- Partner with the showroom manager on outreach, organization, and sales initiatives.
- Serve as acting manager in the absence of the showroom manager.
Qualifications

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3β5 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in a showroom or retail environment.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience developing and executing strategic plans.
- Familiarity with showroom operations, customer service standards, and administrative processes.
