Our client, a Top-Tier Management Consulting firm, is looking for a Surveillance Analyst to support compliance and monitoring programs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies through proactive surveillance and analysis of trading activities.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Architect and implement data pipelines and analytics workflows leveraging GCP
· Conduct daily monitoring and surveillance activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and firm policies.
· Identify and escalate potential illegal, unethical, or improper business practices through detailed review and analysis.
· Apply in-depth knowledge of surveillance systems and trading behaviors to perform complex reviews and assessments.
· Respond to alleged violations by evaluating or recommending investigative procedures where necessary.
· Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Front Office teams to support ongoing monitoring programs.
· Focus primarily on managing and clearing the insider trading alert backlog while maintaining timely and accurate documentation.
· 2–5 years of experience in Trade Surveillance, Compliance Monitoring, or a related discipline within financial services.
· Strong understanding of insider trading regulations, market abuse controls, and trade surveillance systems.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
