Our client is seeking a senior consultant for CACR Global Markets Audit Support to assist with audit and control initiatives across Global Markets within a large financial institution. This role requires strong product knowledge, supervisory control experience, and the ability to assess risk frameworks and drive control enhancements across FICC and Equities businesses.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

Support CACR-related audit activities across Global Markets (FICC and Equities)

Evaluate trading practices, risk management frameworks, and supervisory control environments

Assess valuation methodologies and product risks across Rates, FX, Credit, Commodities, and Equity Derivatives

Review conduct and regulatory frameworks including Market Conduct, Market Abuse, and trade surveillance controls

Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Audit teams on control assessments and remediation tracking

Identify control gaps, analyze processes, and recommend practical enhancements

Develop clear documentation and executive-ready summaries of findings
Requirements

Strong understanding of Global Markets businesses, including FICC and Equities trading

Knowledge of trading practices, valuation, and risk management frameworks

Experience engaging with Compliance, Risk, and Audit control functions

Familiarity with regulatory expectations around market conduct and surveillance

Ability to analyze issues, identify control gaps, and articulate remediation strategies

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
