Our client is seeking an Asset Management Business Analyst to support alternative investments data analysis as part of a strategic IBOR platform expansion. This role focuses on analyzing alternative asset data currently outside the official system of record and aligning it to the firm’s strategic operating model. The ideal candidate will have strong investment data knowledge and the ability to collaborate across middle office and technology teams.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Analyze alternative investment data stored outside the enterprise system of record
- Compare alternative asset data structures to strategic data models
- Identify and document data gaps between legacy databases and strategic platforms
- Work with alternative middle office teams to assess criticality and business impact of gaps
- Support remediation and alignment with the strategic operating model
- Document data mappings, lineage, and analysis findings
Requirements
- Strong Business Analyst experience within Asset Management or Investment Management
- Experience with alternative investments or private asset data preferred
- Strong data analysis, data lineage, and data gap assessment skills
- Familiarity with investment datasets including positions and transactions
- Ability to collaborate with middle office and technology stakeholders
- Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced enterprise environment
