THE JOB
As a Senior Designer, you will be an integral part of our creative team, collaborating with designers, writers, and developers to deliver exceptional creative work. You will work closely with Design Leads while mentoring and supporting other team members. Your expertise in typography, photography, illustration, iconography, color, pattern, and form will help elevate our creative output. You will bring a mastery of design fundamentals and a keen ability to communicate ideas effectively, ensuring innovation and excellence in every project.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Design digital systems, style guides, email templates, websites, apps, and other digital and physical experiences.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute creative campaigns that meet business and brand objectives.
Take ideas from concept to execution, employing sharp UX thinking and systems design.
Collaborate with developers to ensure feasibility, innovation, and fidelity of the final output.
Present work internally to design leadership and externally to clients.
Uphold and evolve brand guidelines while identifying opportunities for creative improvements.
AS FOR EXPERIENCE, YOU NEED:
A Bachelor's degree in design or fine arts (or equivalent experience).
4 years of experience in a design studio or agency setting.
A portfolio showcasing exceptional design sensibilities, including branding, typography, layout, and UX/UI design.
Experience working on global brands.
Strong familiarity with current trends in color, design, and digital experiences.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Keynote, and prototyping tools like InVision or Flinto.
Experience with motion graphics, 3D graphics, or other emerging digital creative work is a plus.
Experience leading design teams and mentoring junior designers is a plus.
Ability to work on-site in our Portland office.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Thesis operates using a flexible hybrid model, work occurs remotely two days/week and in the office three days/week.
