What You'll Do
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our production strategy-designing, developing, and implementing processes that bring Thermon's products to life. You'll champion lean initiatives, lead process improvements, and support new product introductions, all while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Innovate & Implement: Develop new process technologies for existing products and integrate new designs into production.
- Own the Process: Take full accountability for execution of manufacturing orders/projects in partnership with operations.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate across teams to enhance efficiency and support lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Optimize Performance: Improve production KPIs such as On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield, and shop efficiency.
- Design & Develop: Create tools, equipment, production drawings, and routings based on engineering documentation.
- Train & Support: Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel.
- Document & Standardize: Write and update SOPs for operational processes.
- Problem-Solve: Manage Returned Material Requests and contribute to special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree with 4 years relevant experience
- Strong Project Management experience: excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Expert level in Microsoft Office suite of tools
- Extensive knowledge of production principles and techniques.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with Solidworks.
- Strong technical and analytical background
