What You’ll Be Doing
As a Transport Refrigeration Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and repair Thermo King temperature control equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and installations
- Install, service, and repair Auxiliary Power Units (APUs)
- Work on diesel-driven refrigeration systems
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Stay current on certifications and product updates
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
This role focuses on transport refrigeration repair, diesel engine systems, electrical diagnostics, and APU service.
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical, refrigeration, diesel, or electrical experience (training available)
- Experience with diesel engines or heavy/light equipment preferred
- Basic computer skills
- EPA 608 Type II or 609 preferred
- Valid driver’s license (DOT medical card as required)
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work in shop/outdoor environments
