Force TK is hiring a Journeyman Diesel Technician in Elkridge, Maryland to service and repair TICO terminal tractors and fleet equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Diesel Technician, you will:
- Perform preventive maintenance on TICO yard trucks
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and emissions systems (DPF / DEF)
- Troubleshoot electrical, wiring, and battery systems
- Perform air brake inspections and repairs
- Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed
- Use diagnostic software and computerized systems
- Work independently and manage repair timelines
This role focuses on diesel engine repair, emissions systems, heavy equipment diagnostics, and fleet maintenance.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong diesel and mechanical background
- Cummins-certified diesel technician (preferred / required depending on role)
- DPF and DEF system experience
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Electrical and PM service experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- DOT / Medical Card required
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Own a complete set of quality hand tools (preferred)
Work Environment
- Hands-on mechanical work (lifting up to 70 lbs)
- Outdoor and shop environments
- DOT-regulated, safety-sensitive position
- PPE provided
- Safety shoes required (allowance provided)
