The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $23.00–$25.10.

Position Summary: How Will You Make an Impact?
As our Packaging and Labeling Associate on our Frederick team, you will timely and accurately assemble and/or label pharmaceutical clinical trial treatments and supplies following all associated manufacturing regulatory standards and procedures.
Work Schedule:
- 8AM to 5PM core hours, additional hours as required.
- Daily manual packaging and labeling pharmaceutical treatments.
- Accept/reject product to make sure they meet our acceptability and quality standards.
- Accurately count and prepare product to ensure accurate inventory before and after the completion of each job order.
- Timely complete training on operating requirements and procedures.
- Requires a High School diploma or equivalent;
- Experience reviewing processes to improve effectiveness through data collection, measuring, analysis, improvement and control.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, packaging, production, or related industry
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical or food and beverage industry
General Responsibilities:
- Daily manual packaging and labeling pharmaceutical treatments in -80 and LN2 temperatures (minimizing time out of environment).
- Accept/reject product to make sure they meet our acceptability and quality standards.
- Accurately count and prepare product to ensure accurate inventory before and after the completion of each job order.
- Timely complete training on operating requirements and procedures.
- Follow ALCOA Principles always
- Accurately complete batch records ensuring GDP compliance.
- Respond to emails and inquiries related to commercial packaging and labeling.
- Join calls with project managers to troubleshoot issues.
- Interact effectively with multiple functional areas including management, client services, supply chain, shipping, engineering, validations and IT.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in written form.
- Requires ability to prepare reports using Excel; knowledge of Windows, Word and Power Point.
- Requires expert ability to work with methods to handle, process, and store specimens.
- Requires knowledge of Universal Precautions, general laboratory and quality assurance/control.
- Demonstrates good professional judgment when working with clients.
- Ability to role model behavior consistent with company values.
- Ability to multi-task in multi-disciplines on a day to day basis including Operations, Project, QA, and Facilities Management skills.
- Have a familiarity with various deviation and complaint management system, metrology systems, validation equipment, data management, temperature monitoring systems.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to comprehend company and corporate goals, objectives, policies and procedures and develop the necessary measures to achieve them.
- Have the ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must have ability to work in a cold environment with exposure to dry ice, liquid nitrogen cryogenics, hazardous and infectious agents and marked changes in temperature.
- May push/pull 600 lb liquid nitrogen dewars, and work from a platform ladder.
- Must use personal protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and push up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to process and handle materials frozen on dry ice (-78°C) or liquid nitrogen (-195°C) for up to 6 hours per day.
- Must have dexterity and attention to detail to manually label vials (RFT) in a cold environment that meet quality standards as laid out in Batch Records.
- Must be able to use a computer up to 6 hours per day.
