Job Description
Thermal Process Holdings, Inc. (TPH) is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our corporate location in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. TPH unites a family of regional heat-treating locations and experts, offering comprehensive thermal processing services, technical know-how, and dependable performance for mission-critical components from four plants. TPH is a leader in employee safety, quality, and productivity.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Liaison between the company and employees promoting effective communication
and working to resolve issues, conflicts or tensions in the workplace
· Recruitment/New Hires/Onboarding/Termination
· FMLA/COBRA/Leave of Absence implementation
· Workers’ Compensation tracking
· Timekeeping
o Time-off requests
o Attendance issues including preparation of Counseling Sessions
· Compliance with Labor Laws and Employee Handbook ensuring fairness through disciplinary proceedings and finding effective
solutions while promoting the company’s culture and values

· Annual census reporting
· Benefits support and annual Open Enrollment
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
· Empathy and compassion in business relations
· Travel between four plants (auto reimbursement allowance)
· Weekly payroll utilizing Automatic Payroll Systems, Inc. (APS)
· Monthly meetings to address annual reviews
· Point of contact for Employment Verification
· Scanning

· Reports to the Controller but works closely with leadership and plant management on employee-related matters
Qualification:
· Minimum 4 years of Human Resource experience required
· Ability to sit, stand, walk through plant areas, and occasionally lift files/materials up to 25 pounds
· Strong confidentiality and judgment
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel
· Be 18 years or older
· Have a demonstrated commitment to safety and quality
