Thermal Press International is a 45 year old industrial automation equipment manufacturing company. We manufacture precision heat staking and heat sealing machines, custom and automation systems, as well as complete custom tooling packages used in numerous industries around the world. We are the leader in heat staking machines; we offer a wide variety of equipment and options to solve plastic, film, foil, and heat seal connector assembly challenges. All our machines are designed, produced and assembled at our building in Livermore, CA.
Central to our machine production is our in-house CNC machine shop, which plays a pivotal role in meeting the exacting specifications demanded by our customers for customized tooling packages on their assembly machines. With an expanded, in-house CNC machine shop we also offer CNC machining services to local companies that include the same commitment to high-quality, high-precision machining with rapid turnaround times.

This is an hourly, full time position with benefits.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
The company realizes that every interested candidate might not have all of the desired experience, and some training will be provided, but here is what they are looking for in terms of experience and skills... the more you have, the better!
Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
Experience with proto-type and short runs.
Experience in CNC operations including set-ups, runs and inspection.
Experience using CNC Vertical (Haas a plus), Manual mill and lathe is a plus.
Experience machining a variety of materials.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Able to document and communicate both written and verbally in the English language.
Willingness to pitch in with the team during a crunch; ability to work periodic overtime.
Ability to work from verbal instructions.

Compensation negotiable, ideal range is $32-37/hour (Overtime pay at 1.5 times, when appropriate).
