What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator- weekend position at Kalman Manufacuring - CNC Precision Machining?
Kalman Manufacturing of Morgan Hill, California is a Silicon Valley leader in high-precision manufacturing with a diverse customer base, ranging from medical to global positioning systems. We work closely with our customers to design, develop, and process plan products from prototypes through production.
We have openings for qualified people in the industry to join our WEEKEND SHIFT team. Currently, we have positions for CNC operators with 3-5 years experience operating lathes or horizontal/vertical mills.
Weekend Shift is Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6AM to 6PM
Sorry, No entry level applicants will be considered for this shift. You must have experience running CNC machines.
- Must be able to use standard measuring tools effectively and inspect their own parts.
- Must have adequate math skills.
- Must be very detailed oriented with good personal organizational skills.
- Must be familiar with tooling, fixturing, indexers etc.
- Must be able to complete inspection documentation and determine when parts are out of tolerance.
- Should be able to train other operators in the process of manufacturing parts.
- Must have good manual dexterity and be able to lift 70lbs.
- Should have experience in an ISO 9001 environment, 13485 would be helpful.
