Key Responsibilities- Assist in implementing, and monitoring safety programs and policies, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Provide safety training and resources to new and existing employees, fostering a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and making recommendations for preventative measures.
- Collaborate with management to promote continuous improvement in safety practices and performance.
- Maintain safety documentation, records, and compliance reports.
- Engage with employees to promote a positive safety culture and encourage safe work practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations related to workplace safety.
- Bachelor's degree Preferred but not required.
- 1-3 years related experience preferred in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, 30 hour OSHA course required.
- DOT RCRA certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively address safety concerns.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging training sessions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software.
