Role Description The Heat Tracing Customer Service Rep is a full-time, on-site role based in Mt. Airy. This role is responsible for handling customer inquiries related to heat tracing products and systems, including product selection, order status, pricing, and basic technical support. Day-to-day tasks include responding to phone and email requests, processing orders and quotes, updating customer records, and coordinating with sales and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries. The role also involves troubleshooting customer issues, following up to confirm resolution, and providing clear, accurate information to support a positive customer experience. The Heat Tracing Customer Service Rep maintains strong product knowledge and collaborates with internal stakeholders to improve service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in customer service roles, including work as Customer Service Representatives or in Customer Support functions.
- Skills focused on maintaining high Customer Satisfaction and a strong overall Customer Experience.
- General Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and problem-solving.
- Ability to learn and understand heat tracing, electric heating, and related industrial products.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail when entering orders and managing documentation.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM or ERP systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, technical, and operations teams in an on-site environment.
- Previous experience in industrial distribution, electrical, or mechanical fields is beneficial.
