Painter

Position Summary:

An industrial painter is responsible for surface preparation, paint application, and maintaining a clean work environment. They power-wash surfaces, perform substrate preparation, mix paints, and apply coatings to fabricated metal products. Attention to detail, knowledge of painting techniques, and physical stamina are essential for this role.

• Prepares surface for paint application, including but not limited to power-washed and cleaned surfaces for painting.
• Selected appropriate paint types for each surface.
• Monitors paint inventory and tools.
• Collaborates with other painters to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Performed basic maintenance tasks when not painting.
• Works to grasp general understanding of automated material handling and paint system.
• Able to ensure reliability of washer through verification procedures.

• Experience preferred in industrial-level painting.
• Perform thorough work to avoid mistakes.
• Capable of applying paint to various materials.
• Able to work well with others or independently.
• Physical Condition: In good health for job requirements (lifting, climbing ladders, bending).
