In this role, you will collaborate with licensed occupational therapists to deliver personalized therapy services that promote functional independence and developmental progress. Your expertise will help children overcome challenges related to daily activities, mobility, and sensory processing at our Rock Hill outpatient location!

Your expertise will help children overcome challenges related to daily activities, mobility, and sensory processing at our Rock Hill outpatient location!
Duties
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Support children in performing activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting, fostering independence.
- Provide therapy interventions in diverse settings including home health visits, outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately while maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions.
- Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to reinforce progress at home or in community environments.
- Support children with diverse needs including pediatrics, geriatrics, inpatient care, outpatient therapy, and occupational health programs.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all therapy activities and maintain a positive, motivating environment for children.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy.
- Experience assisting with ADLs across various age groups and settings.
- Familiarity with home health care procedures and outpatient clinic operations.
- Ability to work effectively in acute care environments and skilled nursing facilities.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward children and families.
- Knowledge of pediatric development stages as well as geriatrics when applicable.

Salary : $40 - $48
