Key Responsibilities:
- Teaches courses in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program according to approved curriculum course outlines.
- Engages in ongoing professional development and preparation related to best practices associated with pedagogy, andragogy, and all instructional (including virtual) teaching modalities to address anticipated student and instructional delivery needs.
- Ensures course content meets Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) standards.
- Responsible for the program’s compliance with the fieldwork requirements of all ACOTE Standards in Section C.1.0. ACOTE Accreditation Standards – ACOTE (acoteonline.org)
Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid California COTA license.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
Schedule:
- Day shifts available, with flexibility based on patient needs and your availability.
