Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time to Full-Time 

Location: Wichita, KS (Located in the heart of Wichita, near downtown and the Keeper of the Plains) 

Setting: Sensory-focused pediatric outpatient clinic, with options for telehealth and community visits in the home and private schools

At TheraPlay Spot, we are a therapist-owned, multidisciplinary pediatric outpatient clinic dedicated to helping children from infants to teens succeed where they would otherwise struggle. Our playful sensory-focused clinic features a forest-themed waiting room, individual treatment rooms, and two fully equipped sensory therapy gyms. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities): 

• Evaluate and treat children (toddlers to teens) with a variety of receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation delays, neurodivergent diagnoses, and physical disabilities. Option to specialize in feeding disorders. 
• Design creative, playful, child-led, and highly beneficial therapy sessions that keep kids engaged. 
• Develop individualized Plans of Care (POC) with meaningful goals, actively involving parents and caregivers in the goal-setting process.   
• Empower and coach parents to successfully carry over therapeutic strategies into their daily home routines.   
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.   
• Collaborate openly and effectively with families, physicians, and your fellow multidisciplinary teammates.   
• Attend and participate in monthly all-team meetings and therapist collaboration meetings 

What We’re Looking For (Requirements): 

• Current (or eligible) Kansas Speech Language Pathology license  
• We welcome those with their CCC’s and are also open to hosting a CF for their CFY 
• A deep passion for pediatrics and a desire to be part of a playful, cohesive team culture. 
• Strong communication skills and a family-first mindset. 
• Valid driver’s license. 
• Must pass a prior employer check and a criminal background check.
