What You’ll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Providing homemaking services, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and grocery shopping.
- Offering meaningful companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and promote well-being.
- Supporting clients in engaging with their community through outings, recreational activities, and social events.
- Ensuring safe and reliable transportation for medical appointments, errands, and social engagements.
- Helping clients participate in structured adult day programs designed to build skills and foster personal growth.
What We’re Looking For
