Minimum 2 years recent PACU RN experience (Cardiac Pre/Post required) ICU experience required / CERTIFICATIONS – BLS, ACLS Required / LICENSE – Active RN License Required (must be outside 50-mile radius; DL required) / Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts (3x12s), 36 hrs/week, 13 weeks (approx. 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks; holiday coverage as needed) / Setting: Acute Care – PACU (Cardiac Pre/Post) – Level I Trauma Center / EMR: Cerner / Patient Ratio: 1:2 / Skills: Post-anesthesia care, cardiac recovery, monitoring sedation (GA & conscious), dysrhythmia interpretation (must pass exam), sterile technique (Foley insertion & central line dressing change – SIMs lab pass/fail) / Patient Types: Cardiac Cath Lab recovery patients / Equipment: Philips telemetry / Support: Charge nurse, 24/7 RT & pharmacy / Floating: None / Orientation: 2 days unit-specific Day 1 pass/fail exam / Additional: Must pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts), strict compliance (no facial piercings, natural hair color, clean shave for fit test), must have own vehicle / PAY IS NEGOTIABLE!
