About the Role :
ThePackengers Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiver / Quality Control Associate to join our operations team. This role is critical to ensuring that all incoming artworks and shipments are properly received, inspected, and prepared for the packing process.
You will be responsible for managing the intake, inspection, and coordination of incoming goods, acting as a key checkpoint before items enter the packing workflow.
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive incoming shipments of artworks and materials
- Inspect items upon arrival to verify condition, quality, and compliance with documentation
- Identify and report any damages or discrepancies
- Complete and maintain accurate condition reports and intake documentation
- Coordinate with the packing team to ensure smooth workflow
- Organize and label incoming items for efficient processing
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
- Ensure proper handling procedures are followed at all times
Driver & Delivery Coordination :
- Welcome and assist delivery drivers upon arrival
- Guide and supervise the unloading of artworks and shipments
- Ensure safe handling during unloading operations
- Coordinate delivery schedules and dock activity when needed
What We’re Looking For :
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, art handling, or receiving is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to assess condition and identify potential damages
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking
- Physically capable (lifting, assisting with unloading)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
