Summary:

Theory Wellness is seeking a full-time Processing Associate (M-F 8 am-4 pm) to work at our facility in Auburn, Maine. A Processing Associate is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all of the duties listed below:

Responsibilities

• Hand trim or machine trim cannabis flowers
• Package cannabis byproducts into storage containers (nitro sealing Grade A, Joint Material, Trim)
• Follow inventory tracking protocols
• Work to meet or exceed all production quotas
• Working with the dry room and drying practices (from harvest to take down)
• Curing flower to maximize terpene profile and potency of flower
• Follow Maine cannabis compliance regulations
• Gain Understanding of department KPI metrics
• Comply with company and department policies and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness standards for all work areas
• Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements:

• Dexterous and used to working with hands
• Strong attention to detail
• A passionate disposition towards cannabis and being a part of a bigger picture to help and care for people
• Previous trimming experience is a plus but not required.
• 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a CORI background check
• Ability to locate and understand department production sheets.
• Stand and walk for extended amounts of time
• Ability to stand or sit for 8 hours per day while working.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to follow directions and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Repetitively use your hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, cutting and fine manipulation
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to rotate shifts based on business needs
• Ability to become forklift certified ( Not required, but desirable)
