JOB TITLE: Senior Cloud Security Engineer (No C2C, only W2)
LOCATION: Hybrid, half the time onsite

JOB SUMMARY: Theoris is seeking a Sr Cloud Security Engineer with a strong focus in AWS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and operate secure AWS cloud and container architectures, covering multi‑account strategy, network and data protection, and ECS/EKS security.
- Implement and manage cloud security controls, including IAM, native AWS security services, CNAPP/CSPM, and Zero Trust identity (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).
- Embed security into CI/CD and IaC workflows, integrating SAST/DAST/SCA, secrets scanning, policy‑as‑code, and Terraform/CloudFormation security standards.
- Drive operational cloud security, including vulnerability management, incident response and forensics, SIEM/logging integration, and enablement of secure development practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7 years of cloud engineering experience with a strong focus on cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with CNAPP/CSPM tools (e.g., Wiz) for posture management, vulnerability remediation, and risk prioritization.
- Strong AWS security expertise, including IAM and native security services for monitoring and threat detection.
- Proven ability to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and secure Kubernetes workloads across build, deploy, and runtime.
- Experience with modern identity protocols, including OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and enterprise SSO.
- Prefer working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Prefer AWS Certified Security – Specialty (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
- Prefer CISSP or equivalent security certification preferred.
- Prefer experience with Azure identity services.
