Role Description
This on-site role for a Field Engineer is based in New York, NY. The Field Engineer will oversee technical operations in the field, providing hands-on troubleshooting, performing technical support, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the effective implementation of Theometrics' solutions. Additionally, the role involves managing projects, ensuring timely deliverables, and facilitating communication between team members to ensure optimal workflow and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills with the ability to address and resolve field-related issues efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients in on-site settings
- Field service experience, including hands-on implementation and support of technical equipment and solutions
- Project management skills, including planning, execution, and documentation
- Ability to adapt to dynamic, on-site environments and handle multiple responsibilities effectively
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred
- Electrical installation experience is a plus
- Practical knowledge of CAD or BIM software is a plus
- Willingness to work in an on-site, outdoor environments in the New York Metropolitan Area
