QuantumLedger, our specialized business subsidiary, is now seeking a Vice President of Risk to lead risk oversight and strengthen our platform’s resilience in the fast-evolving crypto derivatives space.
Role Overview
As Vice President of Risk, you will play a critical leadership role in designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing our enterprise-wide risk management framework. You will ensure that QuantumLedger maintains best-in-class risk controls while supporting robust business growth in cryptocurrency derivatives trading.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive risk management policies for cryptocurrency derivatives, including market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, and counterparty risk.
Oversee real-time risk monitoring systems and stress testing models tailored to the volatility of digital asset markets.
Collaborate closely with trading, quant, compliance, and technology teams to balance risk appetite with commercial objectives.
Define and monitor risk limits, exposure thresholds, and hedging strategies across all trading portfolios.
Drive continuous improvement of risk analytics, reporting dashboards, and scenario analysis frameworks.
Ensure full regulatory compliance and prepare risk-related materials for internal governance and external stakeholders.
Build and mentor a high-performing risk management team.
Qualifications & Experience
10 years of progressive risk management experience in financial markets, with at least 5 years focused on derivatives (crypto derivatives experience strongly preferred).
Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and derivatives products (futures, options, perpetuals, etc.).
Proven track record in building or enhancing risk frameworks at a trading firm, hedge fund, or regulated financial institution.
Strong quantitative background with expertise in VaR, stress testing, Greeks, and advanced statistical modeling.
Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams at the executive level.
Relevant professional certifications (FRM, PRM, CFA) are highly valued.
