Senior Engineering Technician

Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Technician with hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly, testing, and lab infrastructure setup. The ideal candidate will support the assembly, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electromechanical systems in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electromechanical systems and engineering prototypes.
- Build and maintain test infrastructure, including rack assemblies, cabinets, and mounting systems.
- Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools and power tools.
- Install power distribution systems, batteries, cameras, sensors, and data acquisition cabling.
- Configure instrumentation and load software onto machines and test systems.
- Assemble systems using PCBAs, motors, actuators, sensors, and wiring harnesses based on engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret CAD drawings and assembly documentation.
- Reverse engineer and recreate existing setups with minimal documentation.
- Troubleshoot hardware, electrical, and mechanical issues during assembly and testing.
- Work closely with engineering teams to support product development and validation.
