Junior Mainframe DB2 Developer

Roles & Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of software development including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, PL/1, and CICS.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL stored procedures.
- Support defect resolution during testing cycles and production environments.
- Analyze mainframe logs, troubleshoot job abends, and perform root cause analysis.
- Apply Agile methodologies to streamline development and testing processes.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and reliability.
- Support batch processing, online transactions, and MQ integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.
- Utilize tools such as SPUFI, FILE-AID, RTC, IDz, and JIRA for development and support activities.
