Job Description:
Position Title: On Call High Security Area (HSA) Access Security Guard.
Location: Denver CO.
Part Time: 50 Hours / Month - Average 2 Hrs / Day.
Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Position Summary:
The HSA Access Security Guard is responsible for granting, monitoring, and documenting access to the High Security Area (HSA) when maintenance, repair, inspection, or operational activities require entry by approved Smart Hands engineers or authorized personnel. The role ensures compliance with physical security policies and access control requirements for secure facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Access Authorization:
- Verify approval and authorization for all Smart Hands requests requiring HSA access.
- Validate personnel identity using approved identification and badge systems.
- Ensure access requests have been properly approved before entry is granted.
- Maintain records of all HSA access activities.
Smart Hands Entry Coordination:
- Meet Smart Hands engineers at the facility when access is required.
- Grant access to designated secure areas in accordance with approved procedures.
- Ensure only approved individuals enter the HSA.
- Verify that work performed is limited to the approved scope of activity.
Escort and Oversight:
- Remain available during access periods as required by security procedures.
- Ensure compliance with visitor and contractor access requirements.
- Report any deviations from approved activities immediately to the Security Manager or designated contact.
Security Documentation:
- Record:
- Date and time of access
- Name of Smart Hands engineer
- Reason for access
- Entry and exit times
- Any security exceptions or incidents
- Maintain audit-ready records for compliance reviews.
Incident Reporting:
- Immediately report:
- Unauthorized access attempts
- Security policy violations
- Suspicious activity
- Safety or security incidents occurring within the HSA.
Required Qualifications:
- Security Guard License (if required by local regulations)
- Experience working in secure facilities or data centers preferred
- Familiarity with badge access and visitor management systems
- Ability to follow documented security procedures
