Security Guard (Unarmed)
Location: Denver, CO
Schedule: Part-time / Full-time | Weekdays, overnight, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
About the Role
Frontier Security is seeking dependable, professional, and highly observant Unarmed Security Guards to join our team. This is an observe and report position, you will not be expected to physically intervene or perform law enforcement duties. Your primary responsibility is to maintain a visible presence, remain alert, accurately document incidents, and notify the appropriate parties when necessary

Success in this position depends on more than having a guard card. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate:
- Outstanding reliability and attendance – arriving on time and ready to work for every scheduled shift is essential
- Schedule flexibility – availability for overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional schedule adjustments
- Constant alertness and situational awareness – maintaining focus and actively observing your surroundings for the duration of your shift
- The ability to successfully handle difficult situations while remaining calm, professional, and exercising sound judgment
- A willingness to participate in ongoing training and continuously improve skills, knowledge, and performance standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate reports
Responsibilities
- Conduct foot patrols of assigned properties
- Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations
- Observe, document, and promptly report incidents
- Contact law enforcement or emergency services when appropriate
- Control access to authorized personnel and visitors
- Complete required post-specific duties and electronic reports using a smartphone application
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty
- Be in uniform and ready for duty at the appointed time
- Participate in required meetings and ongoing training as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Denver Guard Card (required)
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Smartphone capable of running required reporting applications
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to work overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Willingness to complete ongoing company training and meet evolving client and company standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous security experience
- Experience successfully handling difficult or high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent written report writing and communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) – eligible for higher starting pay
