Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Administrator with 10 years of IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure networking, identity and access management, cloud governance, infrastructure security, automation, and enterprise cloud operations.

Required Technical Skills

• Azure Infrastructure: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Landing Zones, Subscriptions, Management Groups, Azure Policies, and RBAC.
• Azure Networking: VNet, Subnets, NSG, UDR, Azure Firewall, Load Balancer, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Private Endpoints, and DNS.
• Identity & Access Management: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Hybrid Identity, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC.
• Azure Storage: Storage Accounts, Azure Files, Blob Storage, Azure NetApp Files, and Azure Backup.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
• Security & Monitoring: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Sentinel, and Security Center.
• Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Enterprise Connectivity: DNS, SFTP, SMTP, secure file transfers, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, administer, and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
2. Configure and manage Azure networking services, including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Load Balancers, and Private Endpoints.
3. Implement and maintain Azure Landing Zones, subscription governance, management groups, Azure Policies, RBAC, and security baselines.
4. Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, hybrid identity, SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access policies.
5. Manage Azure storage solutions, backup services, and enterprise file-sharing infrastructure.
6. Develop and maintain automated infrastructure deployments using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
7. Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
8. Troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, storage, and hybrid connectivity issues.
9. Support Windows and Linux server environments hosted on Microsoft Azure.
10. Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Security, Platform Engineering, and Operations teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.
11. Support enterprise cloud migration, modernization, and Azure adoption initiatives.
12. Prepare technical documentation, infrastructure designs, operational runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
13. Ensure compliance with enterprise cloud governance, security standards, and ITIL-based service management processes.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience with strong Microsoft Azure administration expertise.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale enterprise Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, identity management, security, and cloud governance.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, stakeholder communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
