The mission for the Lead Caregiver position is to improve the overall quality of care that Tender Rose provides to our clients living with dementia. They raise the quality of care on new and existing client cases by training on all client cases in their region and providing skilled coverage for all short-notice shifts; being the first staff member to work with new clients and helping to train ongoing Memory Care Professionals (MCPs) for new cases; and supporting our Care Coordinators with care management tasks.

- Full Time schedule Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday- Saturday
- 8 to 12 hours
- Saturday OR Sunday availability required
- $28-$29/hr
The Lead Caregiver (Assistant Care Coordinator) will play a key role in the success of the
Organization Through Their 5 Major Roles And Responsibilities
- Start new client cases
- Work the first three shifts with all new clients in assigned region
- Provide feedback to Care Coordinators with care plans
- Train and introduce MCPs for the ongoing team
- Cover MCP callouts
- Train on all cases in region(s)
- Cover all short-notice call-outs during assigned schedule
- Train and coach MCPs on client cases
- Assist Care Coordinators with care plan meetings for MCPs as needed
- Introduce all MCPs to clients on their first shift
- Assess MCP readiness and work the shift for MCP if necessary
- Tasks to support Care Management
- Tasks may include buying groceries and picking up prescriptions for clients
- Office Shifts: ACCs must be in the office at the start of scheduled office shifts when not
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- Dementia care experience required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Valid Driver’s License and vehicle with current registration and insurance
- Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from work
- Driving Expectations: Must be able to drive throughout the Bay Area and help in emergencies (mileage will be reimbursable).
- Regions: South Bay and San Francisco other Bay Area counties are not exempt and will be required for travel in case of emergencies.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Salary : $28 - $29
