Position Title: Director of Quality Assurance

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring organization-wide compliance with all required New Jersey State and Federal regulatory standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- Administer the corporate compliance program for the organization and oversees all New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) regulatory standards.
- Identifies all DDD related compliance requirements in each area of the organization and assigns responsibility for ensuring that such compliance is maintained.
- Prepares the Agency for organizational compliance audits, including DDD site visits, Medicaid and other related audits.
- Collaborates with the COO and CEO to recommend changes in policy and procedure in order to ensure that compliance is attained throughout the organization.
- Conducts all required internal audits, investigations and quality assurance training.
- Works with agency Leadership, Directors, Managers, and other personnel to ensure that compliance within each individual area of the organization is attained.
- Completes all required agency and DDD trainings.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager/Director.
- Minimum of five years of related experience in the non-profit sector.
- Expert knowledge of NJ State Department of Human Services, DDD regulations and standards.
- Advanced knowledge of best practices related to Quality Management.
- Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office applications, Sharepoint, Therap and other technology platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with leadership, co-workers, and community stakeholders.
