Workforce Development Program Manager
Organization: THEESEEDS Institute, in partnership with Women of Valor (WOVTHEESEEDS)
Location: Onsite – 1730 Twin Springs Rd, Suite 218, Arbutus, MD 21227
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours)
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary
The Workforce Development Program Manager leads and coordinates workforce and vocational training initiatives across THEESEEDS Institute and Women of Valor. This role works closely with the Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) to ensure programs are trauma-informed, holistic, and aligned with whole-health strategies that support long-term participant success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of workforce and vocational training programs
- Coordinate with the Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) to align services with trauma-informed care
- Collaborate with trainers, facilitators, employers, and community partners
- Manage participant intake, engagement, progress tracking, and follow-up
- Support job readiness, career pathways, and placement efforts
- Track outcomes, maintain documentation, and prepare reports
- Contribute to continuous program improvement and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, or career and job development services.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and working collaboratively in a community-based environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or data tracking tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in nonprofit or social impact organizations.
- Knowledge of behavioral health and holistic workforce models.
- Understanding of U.S. workforce systems, vocational programs, and funding processes.
