Summary :
The receptionist welcomes, greets, and directs customers in person or on the phone, and provides clerical support or other duties as needed.Job Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Serves as the first point of contact for ThedaCare to meet customer needs. 2. Provides clerical support, such as triaging calls, to the appropriate team members. 3. Receives and sorts daily mail, faxes, and e-mails, and distributing as appropriate. 4. Maintains site security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk by monitoring log books and issuing visitor/contractor badges. 5. Maintains room schedule for internal and external customers to ensure rooms are available and set up appropriately. 6. Orders office supplies and keeps inventory of stock. QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or GED • One year of experience in customer service PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance • Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Use of computers throughout the work day • Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers • Works in a climate controlled office environment
