About ThedaCare!
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Effectively manages team members in a manner consistent with ThedaCare policies and values. Ensures the recruitment and retention of competent team members to meet the needs of the business operations of the department.
Is accountable for daily activities and work processes that result in quality outcomes.
Oversees and ensures accuracy of time and attendance and payroll practices.
Is accountable for day-to-day operations of the department through implementation of strategy, policy, and action plans.
Establishes department standards consistent with the healthcare industry.
Manages department systems to ensure accuracy of information including coordination with other departments.
Manages accounts receivable to ensure accurate balances, timely billing, and collections.
Maintains compliance with government and regulatory agency requirements.
Develops performance expectations, and coaches, evaluates, and motivates team members. Investigates complaints and performance concerns.
Is accountable for department hiring and performance management, payroll, and payroll practices to ensure alignment with ThedaCare philosophies and to ensure appropriate staffing to achieve outcomes.
Leads or implements ThedaCare initiatives, process improvements, and regulatory or policy changes through the work of team members by using effective change management principles to achieve high reliability outcomes.
Plans, directs, and coordinates the operations and fiscal health of the department to reduce costs and improve service.
Deploys business plan within areas of responsibility. Establishes and regularly reports on department/ThedaCare activities that contribute to strategic and/or operational initiatives.
Advises, consults, and serves as a member of the leadership team in the development and execution of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on division goals, acquisitions, strategic planning, and growth objectives.
Ensures team members are in compliance with ThedaCare and department policies, regulatory requirements, and laws.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, financial management, accounting, business administration, or related field; or five years of progressive responsibility in a healthcare setting in lieu of a degree
Three years of leadership experience to include leading teams and/or projects
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance
Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Use of computers throughout the work day
Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers
Normally works in climate controlled office environment
Frequent sitting with movement throughout office space
