Role & Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the design of scalable, fault-tolerant systems across microservices, data pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
- Own platform-wide engineering initiatives—set standards for observability, security, CI/CD, and DevOps tooling across multiple product teams.
- Mentor principal and senior engineers; elevate engineering culture through technical reviews, pair programming, and cross-team knowledge sharing.
- Drive technical debt reduction and system modernization strategies—prioritize, quantify, and execute architectural improvements with measurable ROI.
- Collaborate with product and security leadership to align infrastructure architecture with compliance, cost, and scalability requirements.
- Represent engineering in executive forums—translate complex technical decisions into business impact and advocate for long-term technical investments.
Must-Have
- This person needs to be a Staff/Lead Engineer. They will be responsible for directing and leading a small engineering team to get project work done.
- They will be involved in both Architecture work (60%) and hands-on design and development (25-30%). The remaining time will be spent working with business stakeholders and interacting with various internal platform teams.
- The candidate must be an expert with UI development along with some backend experience. They will need to have Angular 19. If they've worked in a Ruby on Rails or Python environment in the past that would be ideal.
Salary : $60 - $65
